Just think about it, where deficiencies in the existing google, and where the strengths that make people more familiar with bing from google?

That has nothing to do with it...

Microsoft copies Linux all the time and they are certainly more popular!

People steal things that work, if a smaller place has a bigger idea, the bigger place will 'borrow' it... that is the nature of the game.

Does Bing have its own browser, operating system and line of cell phones too?

Guess what. Which came first, Google or Bing.. um.. Google? Therefore bing copied google.

    Hehe...

Yes, Microsoft copied Google to start a search engine...but does that stop other search engines from copying aspects of Bing?

The Market is competitive so everyone keep on watching what his competitor doing. After this they analyze whether this thing is beneficial for them or not. Then they try to do the same thing with little bit changed manner.

Google was here long before and had these features before, the fact is google was the first real Search engine with a spider, so basically, for anything it might have even possibly copied, Bing copied pretty much everything, the simple search(bar and a button) everything.

These features are aesthetic only. Bing is lame. Google is god (or close to).

I don't think Google is coping Bing. If anything, Bing has copied Google. Google has been around so much longer than Bing. Even now, Bing has a small market share compared to Google. It wouldn't make any sense for Google to copy Bing.

It's not that complex of query really. The only thing I dislike about google's version is it chews up the memory/ram in firefox anyway. Neither of them are that great in my opinion. Maybe they will improve on them in the near future. Hopefully anyway.

This is so not true... Even though bing appeared to be quite a threat, I don't think that it will be able to even touch google's traffic! The big G is still on top!
