Hi, Everyone that Google is the best search engine. My question is how google is getting money to survive in this field. For example, Microsoft is developing software and they are selling. By that they can get amount. But how google company is getting money? What are the benefits if we use their search engine? My next question is what is a free-ware and what is free software. Give me an example. How they are getting money when they give the software for free. Thanks in advance...
Wow. You really need to invest some time in understanding this whole industry. Google makes its money by running Adsense and Adwords. If you ever saw the difference between what a CPC keyword costs me when I'm a publisher posting to Adwords versus what I get paid for the same CPC through Adsense, you'd know how Google turns a tidy profit.
Google has ads on most of their services which improves the profits they receive. They get close to 3 Billion unique advertisement views per month from their websites a lone, not to mention the other millions of ads they serve.
Wow.. with all the ads and the shear fact they are one of the top three sites depending on what week it is, How in the world could they not be making money
Google also entered into telecommunications area. Google phone & android OS are competing with iPhone. I see that area will be google's next big $$$ machine.
Hi, No matter Google or free wares, they both earn their lives via offering advertising opportunities on their own platforms. Of course, Google would earn via other investments, too. have a nice day,
Lol.. Google is earning money in countless ways.. Adsense, Adwords, Some of google products are also paid.
You hit the nail on its head! Google surely makes a hell lot of money...by just being a middle man! Regards, RightMan
On the surface, a search engine, no matter its popularity, doesn't seem like the most profitable of ventures. You type in your query, hit enter and then find your results without making any payment. The oft-overlooked money-making machine for Google is advertising, which allows Google to make its profits off its sites and other sites that participate in Google's advertising schemes.
