I make a mistake - i click on my own adsense adv! What must i do now

 

I think we all clicked once or twice So one might not matter?

 

If you just clicked on it once, probably nothing. You might get a email saying they will ban you, but let them know what you did.

 

What I did when that happened to me is that I wrote them an email and told them about it, that I clicked one time on mistake because I was designing the site and clicked on the wrong place and that I clicked one time because the ad interested me, but that I found out that I cannot click even if the ad interested me. If you know the IP address you had when you clicked, also give them that.

you can disable g ads using this little trick when you are working on your site.

E-mail Google Support staff immediatly. I have done this two times, and it has worked out fine. You just have to be honest and explain to them what happened. They realize that not everyone is perfect, and do tend to make mistakes. As long as you learn from what happened, you should be fine.

 

if google didnt take any action then its fine,but be careful next time,more you can do is to email them from the email you entered in google adsense and ask about this matter.

This happened to me shortly after I put AdSense on my website and I immediately sent them an email explaining the situation. They emailed me back thanking me for my honesty and telling me to make sure it doesn't happen again. As long as you let them know what happened it isn't a big deal.

 

I would contemplate suicide, moving to a different country, faking my own death, or just forgetting about it. I'm sure plenty of new publishers accidentally click their own ad once or twice.

I never ever click on my own ad.

 

I did it once on accident, they paid me $00.00 for it, so I figured it was alright, haven't heard anything about it either and it was a long time ago. There's always a margin of error that they allow.
