Hello friends which url is more importan like www.digitalpoint.com or digitalpoint.com my website work on without www. if www is important then what i will do that our site include www.
Hi, In my own experiences, there are no difference for SEO purpose with these 2 forms of domain name. But, you need to pick up one form of your domain name and 301 redirecting the other one to the used form of your domains. have a nice day,
You can use either form but inner pages url must contain it with them in the same form as the domain name. Thanks
Search result of a site with www is different in without www. So to make it one. you must to redirect your site to www.
My choice would be to use the www. I don't know if there is some technical reason I am using www prefix so if its good with Google, My page rank seems the same both ways.
If your website is always running without www, do not worry. Just make sure you redirect all www to without www. This is because existance of content on both of them create duplicacy problems. People prefer www or no-www depending what why want their website url look like. for example twitter prefer http://twitter.com , digg prefer http://digg.com but facebook prefer www.facebook.com . Generally website with very small domain name prefer no-www while website which want their urls to be memorized prefer www ( or that non-techies can easily recognize the url structure.)
ok, No one have you suggest any good answer www is important for ranking, for adding this you have do submit xml site map in Google webmaster and on the website server t will work great.
seo wize it makes no difference - pick one and use it consistently, do not use www and non-www interchangeably when link building or internal linking between pages.
Domains with no www are said to load faster than with www. Might be because www needs to be looked up in the host service which may take the response longer (especially when the server is heavily loaded) compared to the n a k e d domain.
Yes it's a good question.if a site opens without www then we can say it's the canonical problem of this site.so in this case you just redirect to www,One thing I just confirm if this type of problem persists the major problem arises.first thing pr of the site will divide as well as traffic also divided. So you just keep in your mind first remove this type of problem.
I think this articles will clear all the points you want to know about having www or not. URL with www or without www?
ok simple, look up your website in google if it is displayed with www then keep that version if it isn't then use the other one, it makes no difference when it comes to ranking what so ever. And if anybody tells you otherwise they are an idiot, it's just a matter of pereference. The two are viewed as seperate sites in the eyes of google because the www. is a subdirectory however if ones already ranking then stick with that one to avoid a google bobble hence why I said stick with the one which ranks.
It was my understanding that Google counts your pages differently. For example, these would be considered separate pages: http://www.digitalpoint.com http://www.digitalpoint.com/ http://digitalpoint.com http://digitalpoint.com/ Of course this only applies when people link to your site. As a result you should decide to use www or not, and also decide to use a trailing backslash or not. Then you can program this into your website/server to rewrite the URL to the one you want no matter what people link to. However, if you are not concerned about how people may link to your website, then it really doesn't matter what you use, since it will get you to your homepage.
It depends on what people search. If it is a long tail keyword, omit the www. if it is a productname do what you prefer. when people search for specific websites the often write the www.
