create a directory under your main site and name it as 'blog' and create a host name in your webhosting and configure database accordingly.

Then install wordpress in the blog directory and you are done with it.

You can even use 'BuzzBoost' by Google Feedburner in order to auto post your blog updates on your HTML page. No manually updating each and every time.

Hi, i understood creating a directory. can you explain create a hostname and configure database? also i want to ensure that the same website design and layout shows for the blog as well. essentially "blog" will be a link on the main menu of my site. do i need to make some changes for that?

I am not much into the webdesign hence you will have to explain a bit. Thanks.

I would strongly recommend that if you are not in the webdesign field, get your website theme coded as a wordpress theme by a professional so that blog and website look even.

If you have long banner in your web site, just replace that image with wp's default image banner it will help your blog look like a part of your site. But if you want even more, I can Create word press theme for you.

Just create a directory under your main site something like (blog.yoursite .com OR yoursite .com/blog) and then install wordpress there.
