    FROM: EDWARD NKOMO
    Tel: +27 78 670 6400

    EMAIL:

    Attention: C.E.O/ Managing Director,

I got your contact address through South African Information Exchange (S.A.I .E), while searching for a safe, reliable and accommodative country to invest my fund. I resolved to contact you based on your company’s vast experience and excellence in business, which gave me confidence to invest in your Country and company. But before I proceed, I will not forget to introduce my self to you, my name is Mr. Edward Nkomo the only son of Late Dr.Philip Nkomo, from Bulawayo-Zimbabwe.

My father was the Director of Agriculture and Industry in President Mugabe’s Government, He was murdered with other rich white farmers and some objective blacks farmers in cold blood by the agent of the ruling junta of President Robert Mugabe for his alleged support for the opposition party, the (M.D.C.). Before my father’s death he took me to Johannesburg – South Africa, to deposit the sum of US$47 Million (FORTY SEVEN MILLION UNITED STATE DOLLARS) with a security company in South Africa, as if he knew the looming danger in Zimbabwe.

For diplomatic reasons and to reduce the demurrage, my father deposited this money with the disguise that the actual content in the box was precious item valued at that amount, where by Security Company in South Africa are none legally entitled to transact money. This money was meant for the purchase of machinery and agro-chemical for the establishment of new farm settlement in our rural area.

But my father could not proceed with the purchase, why? Because the land problem arose again when President Robert Mugabe introduces a new land act, which wholly affects all the rich white farmers in Zimbabwe. As a result of this development and the sudden death of my father, my family and I moved to South Africa where we are seeking asylum. Due to the clauses in my asylum status that did not entitle me to do any banking transaction or invest such huge amount in South Africa.

Moreover, it is not my intention to invest in this country even if the situation demands me to do that, because South Africa and Zimbabwe have similar land problems. In respect to this my good friend, if you are willing to assist me to get this money out of the security company here and as well provide a good bank account where the fund can be transferred in, I will appreciate it and I have worked out 30% of the total sum for your assistance rendered to me, 10% have been set aside for whatever financial expenses encountered in the process of transferring this money outside South Africa, while the remaining 60% is for our investment purpose with you in your country.

I assure you that this transaction is risk free, because every necessary arrangement has been made through the help of my financial adviser and his banker friend for the successful transfer of this fund out of South Africa, after the money have successfully transferred to your overseas account, I will come over with my mother and my younger sister for the investment purpose and settling down in your country. If you consider this worth doing, kindly contact me with the above telephone and Fax Numbers or Email address for more detailed information.

    Yours Faithfully
    Edward Nkomo

we all should have common sense to know that none of us are giving money away by the millions so anyone who contacts you is for sure a scam.

Yes, I got it after two years...before when I was new. I reply back with my phone no and address proof. Next in evening I received call and asking I am sending you winner certificate in your email. when I saw that it was really interesting and I was not quite happy bcz, I knew that it may be fake how I can my email selected for $xx,xxxx, xxx Million.
But, I was too anxious to know how they can make a guy fool. when I reply thanks to him he called me again after 4-5 days, Dear ...., your all documentation are fulfilled and now final processing you need to pay $1,0000 for usa Govt fee for lottery winner. After that you will get your winner amount in your bank account. I told him dear sir, You can cut amount from my winner amount. and rest 50% I want to give you so you can send me only what ever you want. Other wise take whole money with you. I don't need your fucking lottery bucks....:D :D :D

I used to get these a lot, for whatever reason I haven't got this one for a while. I think just using common sense and not revealing personal information would be the best advice.

I get these every day and also the little blue pill emails they must think people are stupid but i guess people do fall for it and also must send the fees that they ask for,i am glad that mine always go straight into the spam box on auto pilot so i never get them in my main mailbox,if i need to join a forum or what ever i use a disposable email address and this has also stopped spam straight away.
If its not a email from friends i simply dont open it as sometimes they can contain viruses.

I recently signed up with a social networking website Gather.com I received tons of emails within the first week of people wanting to get to know me looking for love. Get real.. You know each one was a scam and they where all worded very closely. Here are some examples of a few of them..

Well regardless of country, they are undeniably found all across the globe. Well in my case, most of them come from India and they are just spamming my inbox full of link exchanges, SEO partnership and the sort. Second would be from China and they even put pictures of cute Chinese girls just to get your attention! :D

The only way I get e-mails like that is if I join crappy pay per click websites, which I have finally grown out of, thank you very much.
