Well... I think it was an odd response I got after asking them a simple question about "WHY" my hosting speeds are really slow.

This is the e-mail I got as a response to my Question.

:) You know who not to host with if you are hitting those numbers!

I've had similar hosting problems recently as well. Have you installed a wp caching plugin?

it seems as if you need a new host. That is a rather odd response from a hosting company

I have been with these guys for 1 year and the 1 year hosting is close to an end. The previous e-mails from was about how I need to upgrade my account into a higher hosting package. I know my visitor count isn't using 17% CPU like they said it is...

It's Netfirms... No problems for 1 year but I don't know what their deal is now...

When I posted my reply there was no img in the post. =) Therefore there wasn't any "signature."

I think it's absolutely time to get a new host. Many hosts I have tried out there use this to get you into a bigger package also. If you are getting that much traffic and it looks to be increasing then I would get a bigger package though and find a new host.

It is weird, because, Netfirms is a reputable company.

don't get me wrong. Netfirms is great. But they do this often. I just ignore the email. They are trying to get people to purchase boxes rather than share hosting. It's normal. Just ignore the emails :)

Might be time to change host indeed. or try sending another email. Someone else may reply with a clarified answer.

Couldn't of said it better myself. A host should revolve around the client, not vice-versa.
