Hot New Browser

The link below is to a high rated browser, it has a built in search, the software developer says that is is adware/spyware free, has built in search function, pop up blocker. 90% positive rating on Download.com

I've been seeing it in my webstats. But it would take a lot to convince me to use that over firefox or IE

 

I just downloaded it today, it looks damm good to me.

I think the new version was just released a couple days ago, again, I run 3 browsers now.

IE, Netscape and now this one. You can switch off you know.

 

Looks basically just like MyIE2 (which is what I use). Just another tabbed, IE clone.

 

What is IE2, do you have download links, is it a M$ product?

 

Must say I'd never heard of or seen MyIE2 until now - thanks dazzlindonna... I shall have to take it out for a thrash

Firefox is still my personal #1 - for me the webdev tool plug-in is rather handy...

 

I have been using MYIE2 for almost 8 months, it is by far my favorite browser and I recommend you give it a shot. Lots of little tweaks that I love.

Avant brower

an interesting enhancement to IE offers more features and is freeware

seems to have gotten a 95% approval rating from Downloads.com

What are YOUR opinions

 

I think its a decent addition, nothing I'd need to keep around wasting space though

 

I really like it too Dazz. It loads FAR faster than Firefox, and has many of the same features.

 

Nothing new neither, been around for a while.

I used it for a few weeks and found it slower downloading pages than IE. So I've uninstalled it.. why pay for broadband when you are being slowed down by underperforming browsers.

 

I will tell you that it is a great browser, I just installed it today, it is able to show all of your favorites on a large screen.

IE could not even display or render my favorites properly since I had so many folders and files within.

Each browser has advantages and disadvantages, I tried the MYIE2 and did not like that one.

So to each his own, my review of the Avant Browser is a good one.

 

i have been using avantbrowser for the last 6 months, its great.

just wish there was a plugin to show google toolbar information

Anyway thanks for suggesting the browsers. I was looking for a new toy to play with.

 

Search is a double edge sword.

Don't use it and people will point out how many threads on the topic you started a thread for already exist.

Use it and post in an old thread and people say...
