How Much Search Engine Optimization?

After doing on page & off page optimization & social networking site; what should do next?

Update the strategy, blogging or implement the new marketing technique?

I have read many forums that website on first page on Google with targeted keywords but zero traffic.website has on 5th page getting more traffic.

What do you think regarding this problem as a expert?

 

Its a great idea to start blogging. You can associate the blog with your existing site and start publishing content relevant to the site on hot searches related to your site, product or services. Additionally you can take the new posts to the social bookmarking sites and make them popular online by having a good community on the social networking sites. Social media optimisation will give you the much needed exposure online thus creating an exposure for you and will be of great benefit to your already existing website.

 

SEO is a continuous process... I just wondering that after getting #1 rank in Google, done blogging, PPC, social media, what's next?

The website on the fifth page might be getting traffic from any other channel... may be from PPC, social media marketing, blogging, banners, or something else...

 

You didn't indicate where the page you're optimizing ranks currently. If your page is not on the first page of the search engine results you're not finished. There are many tools that will help you to analyze your competitors pages and figure out what you need to do next. It may be link building it may still be on page things but without specific information you just won't know.

 

It is not a problem. You need to do two things. 1. Get quality content. 2. get it recognized by Google ( quality backlinks)

 

1st page and no traffic is seo done wrong at basis. Your keyword research was porrly executed. Or change niche. Website on 5th page probably gets traffic from referal (quality links) or direct traffic (quality content)

 

SEO is something that's never "done". Even if you're in the number 1 spot for your target keywords, you have to keep working at it. Remember, everyone behind you is working feverishly to bump you out of that spot!

On-site, you need to keep coming up with fresh, unique, properly optimized content. Google likes sites that frequently update their content, so even if you have the best on-page optimization in the world, if it hasn't been updated in 6 months, you're not getting the full benefit out of it.

Off-site, you have to continue to build quality backlinks. Keep working on your article marketing campaign. Keep guest blogging. Keep posting intelligent comments on relevant forums. Keep promoting yourself.

Website on top of Google with highly targeted keywords has not traffic, can be the problem of poor user interface.We can't change content of website on a regular basis but building backlinks are contiguous process.

 

You can do commenting blogs then get lot of traffic, and also do continue your off-page work.

 

You can tell your friends to your friend contact customer approach, but also through the network in the form of word of mouth marketing

 

Don't stop there. Continue link building and content updates every now and then.

Continue link building and get your contents copyscape passed. SEO is one regular process which should be conducted even if you are on #1. SEO after getting #1 is for maintaining that position.

On-page changes to give a fresh and better look to the website and to include quality content in your website.
Off-page activities to continuously get the better backlinks. There are a lot of off-page activities and all the stuff needs to be done on a continuous basis.

SEO is a continuous process, after getting 1st rank we have to maintain it on top. Also find other new trends and keywords , then try to make your site in optimam position through that way.

 

Are you sure that your targeted keyword is on top searches? If that is the case, don't just stick with improving your rankings. You can gain your traffic by doing all the promotion techniques.

This can be done but not to the point that it is really necessary especially when you have identified the effective ways to rank a site in the first place.

It happens mostly to search engine optimizers who have no knowledge about what KEYWORD ANALYSIS is and the significance of conducting it before doing onPage and offPage optimization. Using more than one tool to identify keyword activity can help you make comparison chart, thus a more precise keyword stats and worth. Some tools may say that a keyword has 100000 search per month, but in reality, it's just somewhere 100. So be careful and always check on different tools to be sure your are targeting a profitable keyword.
