Dakouten: I love the mafia head. Text is ok but the bullet holes almost take over the design. Having said that I can image if they were smaller it would be hard to know they are bullet holes. I do prefer the 2 color logo over the one color.

gjvblack: that is very original and I like quite a lot of it. I would put the tagline up the top and run it the entire length of the logo instead of having it down below. Your bullet holes work nicely. Your font is good although if the work Mafia could be 'fatter' it might work well.

To everyone: As this is for Google local search listings I'm not sure how the magnifying glass fits in. I hadn't thought of using a magnifying glass and I'm still unsure of it to be honest. I do like how clean everyone is keeping their designs and not cluttering it up too much.

Top's Idea: Nice entry. Can you post that on a what or grey background. I find it hard to judge it on the black background. I would like to see bullet holes on the mafia. You image is great. I'm still unsure of the magnifying glass generally. I'm very interested to see if anyone has any unique spins on the magnifying glass concept. I like the way you have the tagline quite bold.


Dakouten: Thanks for putting the .com in. I'm don't mind it below like you have it but I had never thought of having it down there before. I definitely prefer the 2 color logo.

Gjvblack: Interesting now that you put all the text on the one line. Now the tagline above doesn't seem to fit as well. Given that the magnifying glass goes lower, perhaps have the tagline underneath the main logo words and make it longer. I would like to see it pretty bold as the tagline tells more of my story.

Dante777: Nice. I still like to see the .com smaller and running upwards as it's not the most significant part of the logo. I like the way you have the tagline quite noticeable. Bullet holes are looking great.

To Everyone: I would still like to see if anyone can have a 'swish' of a bullet travelling through the logo.

I have attached a istockphoto image of what I had in mind. See the red arrow, well I was thinking that it could be a bullet zooming through the logo and heading upwards. Let me know if you need a better description.

 

Gjvblack: Yes I think that fits in well and suits the style of the logo. I like the text underneath. I only asked to place it above when your original design had Mafia underneath.

wp11.com: Thanks for your entry but not quite what I am looking for. The com is around the wrong way (in my opinion) and doesn't a dot before it. Also I like 2 colors in the words as it adds a better dimension to the logo. The tagline is also quite small so that would have to be made bigger too.

decided to give it a try before i went to sleep but heres my last one of my variations:

gjvblack: I was thinking a small 'swoosh' from the bullet if you know what I mean, not a big arrow. I showed teh big arrow to give the idea of a fast moving object going up.

Ideosmil: Nice entry. The .com is around the wrong way (in my opinion). The hat isn't a 'mafia' hat if you know what I mean. That's more of a performers hat. I'm not sure about the round ball for a head and definitely don't like the bullet in the idea effect. The bullets in the text look great though. Your bullet effect around the ball is great. Keep that.

onlyvidiu: Thanks for you entry. I like your top desing better than the bottom one. Perhaps your logo is a little too long? The bullet effect you have created is very much along the lines of what I was asking, just that the open white space (the swoosh) is quite wide. Not so sure about the target at the end.
