Having the numbers now will simply embolden the opposition to find the solutions when they will be needed in November - the last pole is the only one that counts. As a barometer for the health of the economy the stock markets performance will have a bearing on how people vote at the time as well. The Sun will shine come November.
Sorry, I couldn't help but laugh when I read your post. This picture is the best I could come up with on a 20 second web search, but it will do.
Difference between the Democrats and the Republicans: When the ship is sinking in Democrat land, Democrats abandon ship. They let the captain go down with the ship, and or kick him off the lifeboat. Everyone fends for themselves. When the ship is sinking in Republican land, Republicans gather around their captain and sink with the ship, all the while ignoring the life boats. Everyone goes down with the ship. Both parties screw themselves in that regard when it comes to the court of public opinion.
Are you saying that all Republicans are stupid? This is even funnier when you come up with such¨"bravery" when your personal history of not serving your country while claiming is under attack shows what a coward you are.
No, he's saying that Republicans are loyal to each other, while Democrats are selfish cowards. Case in point - me, Mia, Obamanation, etc stick together and support each other here, while liberals like you are always alone. I never see another liberal come to your defense. I never see you come to another liberal's defense. Why is that? gworld, how important do you value loyalty in your life?
Big difference between loyalty, stupidity and sheep mentality, Liberals know it but Republicans don´t.
At least someone gets it. If Julian spent as much time listening as he did insulting people he might actually learn something for a change. BTW, that graphic Julian posted with the sheep is a prime example of what we are talking about. That Sheep represents Julian going over the cliff while his "Friends" stand there and watch without even bothering to help.
The majority party has enacted far reaching legislation since 08 and continues to do so to the present August break. No ships are being abandoned and with the clearing economy and a realization by the electorate for the job well done they will prevail in the last hour against the like minded complacency of laziness and self adulation.
I would say lay of the pills but I think it'd be a better idea to up the dosage seeing the midterms are coming up in a few months and you are going to need your meds come the day after...
None of them are Presidential material. The GOP will have to do a lot better if they want to be taken seriously ever again.
Have you checked the Gallup and Rasmussen polls lately? Nearly all democratic contenders are trailing their GOP counterparts...
Interesting... I don't know when it happened, but Gallop has changed their polling methodology for the President's popularity, from that day, to a three-day rolling average. This is how Rasmussen does it, and now Gallop's numbers are the same as Rasmussen's.
Gallup has changed squat on their polling. Rasmussen counts those who are likely to vote, Gallup counts those who are or not likely to vote. It just reflects the mood of the country and at this time, Obama isn't looking good in either polls not to mention the AP, Routers, CBS, ABC or CNN polls...
This is a quote from poles two weeks ago but doubtlessly still relevant. ..... With final passage next week in the House for state work assistance the gov't will be set for the August recess and the real politicking will begin for the midterms. The Democrats have their work cut out for themselves but there is plenty of time remaining and with the backdrop of 94 being resurrected daily have already a precedent to actively rally against. With legislative enactments to stand behind the electorate will realize the difference between hollow reactionary rhetoric and fundamental accomplishments, particularly in relation to the past Republican Administration and will vote accordingly.
I think it's important to remember that Obama is not the problem. Obama didn't elect himself, the American people elected him. When Obama leaves office, the American people will release a sigh of relief and will then think that everything is OK. It isn't. Until the American people learn that theft through taxation is still theft, the United States will continue down the path of it's own destruction. I was talking to a tea party organizer the other day who was opposed to repealing the laws preventing Americans from legally choosing their own drugs. I explained to her that she was part of the problem -- she was asking the government to do something which is not part of the proper job of government. After a few minutes she "got it" and changed her stance on that issue. If millions more Americans don't "get it", the nation is doomed. Personally, my experience tells me that most people are learning resistant and that only severe hardship awakens the learning circuits in their brains. If that's true, then it's going to get a lot worse before it gets any better.
Exactly, the outcome from the previous Republican Administration. The only caveat is whether there brains have enough capacity to fully understand the completeness of the devastation.
