    CPA Networks FTW :)

You can make substantially more with CPA than with CPS!

Gotta say I don't neccessarily agree with you there. CPA networks are much easier to being earning money and get those easy conversions. In my experience on both sides, CPA is much easier to break into, especially for the new experienced. Also, CPA campaigns are generally much quicker to establish, you can buy a large volume of traffic and be up and running within a day or two. CPS generally requires a more established and well constructed website. The opposite side is also true however, CPA is notoriously unreliable, offers are continually dying, margins shrink and dissapear overnight, there's a lot less stability unlike CPS. For this reason, you'll find a good number of the highest earning (over $1,000,000 / yr commission) affiliates are in CPS where they can continually grow their campaigns over time and build upon previous successes. A lot of CPA affiliates are going to disagree with me, largely because many of the top CPS affiliates aren'tr traditionally defined as such. The major coupon sites, price comparision engines and review sites are amongst the absolute biggest in the game. Even some of the bloggers and niche content sites. They often move beyond a pure affiliate approach over time, which confuses the classification a bit.

With all that said, comparing CPA and CPS directly isn't a fair comparison at all. There are so many products and offers out there that really don't fit into the standard characteristics, so I wrote this based off what most of you think of in CPA (toolbars, dating, email/zip and lower qualification lead gen) and CPS (Physically shipped material goods)
