I got contacted by FacebookMaster about a forum posting project I had, and after contacting him through MSN we arranged a deal to pay him half the payment upfront. Now it seems like he hasnt done any work at all since I paid him, and doing a quick google search on him found this page http://www.your-brand.net/forum/message.php?id=1439 So I'm guessing people here have an exprience with him before? Should I be concerned that I will never get my payment back?

He just got banned right now. Maybe, you were right. By the way, I found this in one of his scam threads: And, yeah, don't worry about the infraction. Complaining about it would earn you one more.
Sadly, he persuaded me to make the first payment by "Gift" option, so getting my money back from Paypal doesnt seem like an option now. Lesson learned. Glad to see many people have caught on to him. Hope this thread helps.
I hate to say it but I got scammed too...the only difference was that his username was FootyLover and he didn't have any ratings associated to that account at all. The only reason why I found out it was this EvanP character was that they must've banned him and all of the messages I sent to him through FootyLover reverted and changed to EvanP and then I realized that he must've been doing this stuff over and over again and the Mods are linking his subsequent accounts to the original account. I paid through Paypal using "service" as option and so far my chances are good it appears. He has yet to respond to the claim and he has til Friday. And I've saved all messages that he sent me promising service will be completed and it hasn't.
Evan Prevett is a scammer and under no circumstances can he be trusted. He convinced us that he wanted to contribute a lot to the site and was elevated to a moderator position. From the position he consistently abused his powers inconspicuously and kept calling for more and more privileges. Things got out of hand and he needed to be removed. Emails used include : as well as: (though domain has been removed) He goes by names like evprev97, EvanP, EvanPrevett, UndiscoveredTalent, FootyLover and there are plenty of posts on the net that report similar incidences. Please be cautious and DO NOT let him convince you that he is not a scammer.
