    Why the Spams can not stop sending msgs once they are put in the delete box. I have been receiving some for more then ten years? any way to make this stop. These are unwanted not part of any mailing list. Thanks you.

    email span can never be stopped, sure it can be slowed down but you can never stop email spam..

    Don't give up so easily!!

    Maybe Spam can't be completely eliminated, but you sure can remove over 99% of it by using decent anti-spam tools like Commtouch and Declude. We use a couple of anti-spam systems for our customers, each of which carry out tons of tests, and most of our clients are unlucky enough to receive 2-3 spams a weeks now when they used to receive hundreds. I'd say that was a pretty good rate of spam stoppage.

    I agree that spam can never be stopped. But today there are many methods in the war against spam. One of them is the Bayesian spam filtering which is very effective by the way. It allows us to hope for a better state of things than it is now.
