Really in trouble. Badly ditched on DP ;( What to do???

Hi all!
I just started a thread for selling my own ebook for $15.
Now I gave 3 review copies to 3 respectable members around here. But then I came to know from them, that this ebook has been sold already on DP before and the three members strictly scolded me because they though I was just scamming

I swear under oath that I'm the owner and original author of this ebook. Now my thread and sales have been ruined because of extremely negative review

What could I do now??? Please help me out of this mess.

 

First of all find out who sold your ebook earlier to other member and then talk to that guy. Ask him why he sold your ebook with out your permission.
May be this is the way you should proceed with resolving the issue.

 

Why would he even talk to me???
If he's a cheater, he just won't reply to my PMs and emails, I guess.

But just sharing my view that I believe he won't respond.

 

That sucks. Can't you find out from said three respectable members, who sold it previously?

try to find him first and talk to him, maybe it will sort out.

 

dont worry...dont give up...you can create a new thread..or you create a new ebook

 

Do not create a duplicate thread about same product/ebook. Its liable for infraction.

If you're the original author, how come he sold it first?

 

I sold it somewhere else on the internet before.
This is the first time I'm selling something on DP and I got ripped off too
Perhaps he bought it, and then sold it here...

 

That's all they could do is try

 

if you sold it on another forum link it on his threads it will have a time stamp of an older date

 

Work out who it was and sue them for damage.

 

itd be great but that seems somewhat difficult cause youd need some of his personal info to do that. anyway, good luck gettin some money for the damages sarim

 

Did you sell your ebook the first time with reselling rights? if you did, there is really nothing you could do about it because there's nothing wrong on his side.

 

give us proof that you are the real author of the ebook.
