Blog comments are extremely low value links unless you are lucky to get a comment authorized on an authority domain.

 

Don't know google identifies that but you can do it by checking it on Copyscape

 

Focus on quantity rather then quality, with a steady and moderate approach to blog linking "improvements". Easy quick wins will lead to easy losses.

Well, off course it's easy to get back links from some blogs but make sure that these blogs should be relevant to your niche so that these back links should also be counted by the Google as well, as Google prefer only contextual link building so that's why we should work only on those blogs that are fully related to our domain and niche...

 

One way also of getting backlinks from blog is by commenting. Just make sure that you comment on page with pr and your comment does not look like spam so that the site owner will approve it.
