Hello everybody

I've just finished creating my new website. It's a travel blog website where you can find the latest travel news, and create your own free travel blog.

Very good website.
First page looks great.
Why don't you add images on subpages?

 

Here is the review.

Site take long time to load, sometimes banner does not display in full. Coding is not properly done. Use a scroll down menu scrip instead of two navigation.. Rest looks fine to me

 

Thanks for the comments so far, yes that's a good idea to add some images to the subpages, would spice them up a bit more.

Having slight problems with the main banner as well, have considered changing it to something else.

Nice. However the blog snippets on the right should only be 2 not 4 as it makes the bottom half look tacky. Apart from that very nice and clean well done.

I didn't have any problems with it loading or anything, and I think the theme looks pretty sharp.

My only concern is that visitors might not understand what it's about right away. What's the connection with a travel blog and "sign up now to start blogging?"

I think the way you describe it in this thread is actually more effective. Could you change your tagline to something like "Find the latest travel news and even sign up to create you own blog?"

it is clearly stated right in the header and when people see a signup or register button then i guess its understood that users can contribute to the site, i like the header. i'm signing up can weput our link in the article we post there?

 

Yeah, you're right and I understood what the purpose was. I'm just trying to brainstorm what visitors might think when they first see it...

I wasn't trying to suggest users will be super confused when they see the page, but rather that it might be beneficial to make it a just little more clear. For example I found this at the way bottom of the page as a post:

I think this sounds really good and it might be good thing to feature something like this a little more prominently on the page.
