See, those are the people that ruin the design business.. Amateur designers, that have put no effort nor time or planning into their logo and they charge 10+times lower than the average price. anyway, here's my submission : it's fully scalable (100% vector) and can be used anywhere you would like to. If my logo got chosen, I can design letterheads, envelopes, and business card for an extra low fee.
Yes, you are correct. $10 logo is not a logo. We had a choice of either posting here or hiring someone locally for a lot more. The reason we went with $75 is that most of the contests here run on $25-$50 budget, and we realize that it's low. Again, it all depends on the country you live in. Some people get paid $150/Hr for design work, some $50 and some $1/Hr. We hope to see more work though. So far ideas posted are not bad and all ideas are greatly appreciated. We would be interested to see more of a modern and strict/firm designs. No 3D please. Again, thank you for all entries so far, and hope to see more coming. Wish everyone a good weekend!
Of the last three entries above, I like Genial's more, but it seems to lack a "WOW" factor. The gear wheels turning together is good because it shows that this is a common safety hazard with machines. The logo should be something that sticks to the mind of clients and that they remember. I am not fond of the yellow/orange colours as this does not contrast so nicely on white paper for business letterhead. The black/silver/grey combination with maybe some blue tones looks nice.
I didn't get any feedback on mine, would like to know if it's worth changing them in some way or I should come up with something now. Thanks
Hello xtreme777, Here's my 2nd try, wich is an improvement of the first one. Please help me to improve even more your logo. thanks
I am sorry for those of you asking for feedback and have not received it. To help you, I am listing feedback on the last few entries you have provided here. HomeBlogger - very nice logo and creative. I am not sure of the colour scheme. idteano - nice work, but the logo doesn't "jump" out at me or make me remember the company Carelessstudy - I like the idea of the logo, but it is hard to visualize the meaning - 2nd entry is better sparkle92 - nice work but your logo is very big and very busy. I am not sure I like the heart. parijatmohor - small case letters for the logo don't have much meaning to the business type scorpionagency - nice and creative, however I do not see how it applies to my business Knique - smiley baby faces for an engineering firm? I need this to be professional please spy100 - thank you for the second entry. I liked the hand inside the gear better but without the open mouth face. Not sure the meaning of the man. The text is too chunky and colours should be more bold. vikiana - not sure i like the logo with the exclamation mark idea. Colours are too bright. spackle123 - I like the entry2 better than your others but the logo is a little too busy and letters for ADVANCED too thick. I prefer to stay away from the yellow/orange/browns. stellah57 - great work. My wife and I like this, but perhaps the logo is a little too big compared to the AES mobidik025 - most recent entries are a big improvement. I like the creativity with the AES inside the gear. The one with the gear to the left of the name is better but the colouring of the darker blue gear by itself is better. carnage0021 - 3rd try is a really good entry. I love the font and the text - professional looking. The logo is nice and I can see this looking good on any media - paper, colour, B&W, t-shirt, website, etc. facts - nice improvement with 2nd try. I am wondering if maybe different colours would make it "pop" out a little more with just a little more boldness. denver666 - very interesting and creative entry, but the logo seems a bit too over-stimulating for a professional engineering firm Thank you very much to EVERYONE for your entries thus far. Please keep in mind the following important points: - logo and name to be professional looking - strict with lines etc. - colours not overly bright like a video game - maybe some blue/grey and black tones with other highlighting colours perhaps - logo has to be universal for media use - can be placed on paper, website, t-shirt, business card, pens, etc. - detail level has to be such that when a letter is faxed, the logo is still distinguishable - overly detailed logos may get blurred when faxed - example really small gear teeth on wheel I am VERY impressed by all the creativity I am seeing here. Please appreciate that this is a very difficult decision for me. The logo is like a "FACE" for my company. This face has to be just right. I am sorry if you think I am being picky, but keep in mind the importance of the "look" of this logo. Thank you again.
