Is YPN open for Indians? If yes, please give me a l ink to apply...Cos I cant find it in Yahoo Pages...
No, YPN is still only open to publishers living in the United States. No one knows for sure when it will come out of beta and allow non US publishers in.
I've heard that yahoo is paying more than google adsense?? Yahoo should come out of beta ASAP. Can't wait to get my account at YPN
sorry d16man, but it just cross my mind while reading some related threads, thats y i asked...will take care of it next time...
Wasting? I thought this would help newbies who get bad reputation and bad post reports for asking same thing over & over.
YPN India is not available. In fact, if you do not ensure that your YPN ads show only on US sites, you can risk having it cancelled! Be careful!
They need to view your profile before posting which I doubt they would as they are newbies. And you could make money by selling those sigs
Search the forum prior to posting, or ask your Indian buddies they have posted this 50,000 times since last September.
one thing i think is that ypn is paying more because its beta and have only 1-10 million users from u.s only. When it will get worldwide then their money for click will be low.I cant say anything surely, yahoo knows better about their policies.
Does anyone even know for a fact that YPN will move to asia and eu? i know that its coming to canada, cause i heard from an employee
I think YPN will get better for both advertisers, publishers and YAHOO when it goes worldwide To get more advertisers (for Yahoo that means more income) it needs more publishers. Publishers want worldwide earnings not just USA (so you need more advertisers to attract more publishers). Its the cycle which has made Google the dominent player and why Yahoo isnt taking off as expected (news from yahoo's recent news to shareholders/stock market) When Yahoo does go worldwide they will be fully in competition with Google which will create proper market conditions forcing down the price for advertisers (on both networks) and the revenue up for publishers (on both networks) as they compete for you. (it will also mean Google are forced to treat publishers and advertisers alot better)
you see, the current problem with google, (and also what brought the onset of smartpricing) is an overcrowding of publishers. they just have too many low quality publishers and it's hurting the network in overall effect. the reason why yahoo stocks went down was due to the fact that automotive advertising went down. summer is generally not a good time for advertising in the automobile industry because new cars aren't being released (that happens around december/january). those advertisers will be back more towards the end of the year as they try to unload the current year's stock and introduce new models. but back on topic, ypn has a relatively strict quality guideline and it's extremely important that they continue to hold that policy. it's no secret that essentially anyone can make it into adsense.
