How many times did you accidentally misspell the domain you wanted to register?

I know this is kind of a stupid question but I just couldn't help asking. I've registered hundreds of domain names and so far I haven't made this mistake. This actually surprises me because I've always been the king of typos. Has this ever happened to you?

yea it happened to me once.. when my friend urged me to buy a domain name contains two word.. he misspelled it and i just simply copy paste and bought it..
but thing i was able to cancel the registration .. coz i realized after two minutes.. i think it was from namecheap

Awesome! A lot of domain registrars won't refund you if you make that mistake so hopefully you learned your lesson.

In fact..most of the registrars do actually entertain such cancellation requests with full refund, if the mistake appears genuine and cancellation is requested within a very short time. I always double check my purchases and so am yet to encounter any such errors! :)

I have never had that happen to me. I guess I am just very careful when it comes to that type of thing.

None....actually once, it was a german name & the umlauts thing I didn't get that when you don't reg it with the umlauts as an IDN but in ASCII, the spelling becomes with an "ae" instead.

It happened to me once. It wasn't a typing error though, I actually didn't know how to spell the word. I found out much later that it was the wrong spelling. Argh. Hate it when that happens!

LOL. A few times I thought I found a killer domain name that was available but when I checked my spelling closely I found out there was a typo. Hate it when that happens!
