Actually you don't need to submit to Google. It will find the site on its own.

No need and shouldn't submit your site to Google directly but you have to find link pointing to your site and let G.bots following those link to your site instead. :D

Get link/s to websites or pages that has lots of "quality backlinks" and updating daily. News sites (Authority) are nice to have BL's because crawlers visits these types of sites frequently to look for new information.

Same problem, I uploaded 5 different sitemaps, logged on Google Webmaster tools, I did linkexchange, manual submision to 30+ searcengines, 20+ directorys, and google is doing nothing - for 8 days! Only MSN indexed the page, googlebot crawled my page for 38 times! And still doesn't index.

    I'm desperate guys!
It's 10 months now and still only 270 pages (old ones) out of 3000+ indexed. Can someone provide a good link for 1-2 weeks or something?

    HI keerap,

have u implement robots.txt file if us, please check have u disallowed crawlers from crawling.if not spread your links on the web. and definately u will get indexed.
and there is no time limit as such for indexing.

make sure all your links are spiderable. The best way to find out if it is, is to view your site in a Lynx browser (text only browser), if you can navigate fine round in that, then there's no reason why the spiders can't index them

I have gotten my sites indexed in a soon as 5 days or so. It definately seems to be as a result of the sitemap submission.

I use a Joomla CMS for my sites and the SEF component handles the sitemap generation. I would guess that a quality sitemap has a lot to do with it too.

Well getting indexed in Google depends on a few things

    - The area where your site has got a backlink from, how well it is indexed, how often the GoogleBot visits that site. Just post a link on Digitalpoint or any other site that gets heavily spidered by Google. Or post a link on a high pagerank directory like canlinks
