duplicated content dosen't harm your website for sure :D some my friends here say that most of news websites have duplicate contents I completly agree with the idea

but consider that you won't get high rank on google it's all ;)

good luck, but it will never sink in, these numpties dont even read threads, they just repeat incorrect info they read somewhere else to make themselves look knowledgeable, or up their post counts...

    but feel free ;)

and that has what to do with anything exactly? please point out where anybody, ever, mentioned competitivity levels?

and it makes not a blind bit of difference in competitive searches either.

in fact if you'd like a demo, PM me a "competitive" search you have a site in, and I'll copy your content and outrank you for it in less than a month?

otherwise dont try changing the subject, the facts remain.

It will decrease your ranking in search engines, since they check for duplicate content. If you don't care about that, then you are fine. One way around it though is to rewrite the content, or move pieces of the content around, while replacing some words that are similar.

lol, yes, well thanks for that, however one of us is an seo professional with approaching 5 years commercial experience and 100 + clients, and the other has just started reading seo blogs and ought to be listening more than they're speaking at this stage ;)

You never want to duplicate content on your website. Do your best to write unique content based around the niche you are targeting. If you can't try hiring someone to write articles or pages for you. Good luck :)
