Amount of Reputations

How many Reputations one must spread around before giving new one to the same member?

Also, what is our daily 24 hours limit?

Not sure about the first question but I know the answer of second one. You can alter up to 10 user's reputations per day.

 

Earlier it was 10! Now its less!

 

I read that in Reputation FAQ, so I thought it is still the same.

 

No wonder for 3 days now I spread reputation and it still says I cannot give another
to the same person and need to spread more of it.

So, we know now we need at least 15, the question remains, how many more?

I think you have a better chance of getting Google to post the code for their search algorithm.

 

And why is that?

Surely you’re not implying than number of given reps will jeopardize national security
of US because Russians will use that number to create the most devastating WOMD
and then destroy America including DP and heavens forbid Google’s algorithm.

Or maybe I’m wrong and Shawn should be careful about who knows what in order to
protect DP from possible distraction.

you guessed it, system says no, not yet

 

Now, this fucking Reputation system start pissing me off.
After 25 reputations I had spread around, I'm still getting "not yet, give more" message.

What is going on? How many reps. do we have to give before we can give another one
to the same member? Don't you think that 10 reps. in between is more than enough?

Some member lined up 3, 5 posts I would happily rep. but your system made it impossible.
This is just ridicules and plain silly and you should do something about this nuisance.

Is there a duration of time that you have to wait, or is there actually a number? Eg. Give 40 reps before giving it to the same person?

 

I would very much like to know as well!

 

It looks like Shawn is cooking secret souse to kill members appetite
to communicate with each other by means of Reputations.

Are you able to give rep to a person you gave earlier? Did you remember days?

 

No, I don't remember and that is the problem.
I gave now over 30 Reps. but when I try to give Rep. to member I know I gave
Rep. before that, I'm still getting "not yet, give more" message. Combined with
5 Reps.per day limit it just make all that Reputation system sheer idiocy.

Keeping track and to have list of when and to whom you gave Reps. in Control Panel
would be ideal solution but I don't think Shawn will do anything to help us out.

Well, I bet Mods themselves have no idea and Shawn apparently
doesn't care if we know or not how Reputations exchange works.
