It's Google Caffeine and please use the search functions, this topic has already been discussed a lot of times here. You could have at least given more information about the URL you posted here. It is against the rules to post URLs without anything to add. EDIT: I think newly created threads such as this one should be locked down.
Its not an algorithm! Its their new infastructure for indexing sites and delivering search results; NOT ranking them
Google Caffeine is Google's search engine new infrastructure, nobody don't know about this new algorithm!

Did you even read this thread? It is not cafine BUT Caffeine. Sheesh.. Can the mods lock this down now? Please.. It's getting a lot worse.
OMG... read above please!! Google Caffeine has nothing to do with an algorithm... Caffeine is the new indexing system and the new algorithm is called MayDay.
Our old index had several layers, some of which were refreshed at a faster rate than others; the main layer would update every couple of weeks. To refresh a layer of the old index, we would analyze the entire web, which meant there was a significant delay between when we found a page and made it available to you. With Caffeine, we analyze the web in small portions and update our search index on a continuous basis, globally. As we find new pages, or new information on existing pages, we can add these straight to the index. That means you can find fresher information than ever before—no matter when or where it was published.
