PayPal temporarily suspends electronic withdrawal in India, only cheque/check

I have made the payment request yesterday, and today it appears to be completed. Let's hope for good

 

even mine appears completed they are working on clearing all payments before the rules officially change

 

I have also made withdrawal request on 27th July and the status is showing Completed in my account. I am worring if amount will deposited in my bank account.

 

My cousin lives in Canada. Can i transfer money to his account with my Indian paypal account and then have him do Western Union??

PAYPAL SAYS THAT THE PROCESS IS COMPLETE BUT I DIDN'T GET THE MONEY IN MY A/C TILL NOW!

 

You will rec the funds in ur a/c within 2 days or within 7 days depending on ur bank

Dont worry it will be resolved in a few days. Shouldnt take more than 2 weeks. Paypal will surely do something very fast to restore electronic transfer, since they get a lot of commission from Indian paypal users, which they will not want to lose.

But sad that Paypal has been functioning in India since 3-4 years or maybe more, and RBI has woke up today.

i have just withdrawed hope it goes through atleast then for few days my money needs will be met

 

I am sure that this is an RBI issue , indian government want to kill all the small workers. I am very unhappy with both paypal and indian government

 

I also have withdrawn my money to my bank account yesterday and today it shows completed.Hopefully i will get my money within 2-3 days.

 

Well, the Cheque is better than Bank Account because they won't need to confirm anything.

 

Man, cheque takes 6 days to process by paypal....15-20 days to come to your address...another 3-4 "working" days to go to the bank...thats approximately a month...and in addition to that...a month of worry for people who have not done it before..because..

2. What if the cheque is lost ? Yes we can call paypal and cancel the transfer. But eventually you wont be getting the money for which you have waited for a month !

 

Yes I totally agree with you mate but I think Cheque is the best option if anybody has urgency in getting their money from PayPal.
Because I don't think PayPal will be able to solve this issue within 25 days... So if we request cheque then we can have our money within 25 days

 

this is because of RBI policies , but it do not deal us much , check or bank , hahahha 5$ (Fee) is refunded thats wha t i care about 220 Rs +

 

Is it a temporary thing?
