PayPal temporarily suspends electronic withdrawal in India, only cheque/check

But Minimum withdrawl amount for indians were 10$.Yesterday,all were saying Paypal stopped bank transfer facility from 29th July 2010.

 

More crap indeed , I have $9000+ stuck in paypal and they allow only $2500 withdrawal. What on earth am I going to do with the rest. Last I checked the local supermarket does not accept paypal only good honest indian currency.

 

Give them 24 hours to finish it! Check it in evening.

 

nope cheque withdrawal minimum amount is 150$.
so its pathetic for us ..

if u dont have 150$ in your account then u cant withdraw a single $ from your paypal via cheque .

$150, because you will be able to withdraw through cheques only from now on and the minimum amount for cheque withdrawal is $150.

 

this is bullshit method .
collecting 150$ not a matter of joke .
so better stay away from paypal untill probs resolved ..

 

We got the same mail on all our Paypal accounts, but can we do something else apart from exhausting with our frustration?

Well, perhaps nobody from the other side even knows a little bit of percentage of users, who are shouting reluctantly. I think neither paypal or RBI even reads this forum or knows any such community of online earners who are affected by such sarcastic decisions.

Also, if it has been decided to stop the electronic payments, shouldn't the option be removed too? The existence of the option may somewhat hints that it's another scare-monger sort of rule (it's been a months since paypal told us that we can't use paypal funds for online purchasing - only credit cards can be used. But the reality is, we still are able to use it). So, the same this time?

 

RBi sucks i dnt know why they have problem with us

 

Paypal has not removed the option Withdrawal to bank completely from Withdrawal section , so it means its temp. issue ,and they will fight best to restore it , as they did in past (Feb)

I trust PayPal , and it will be Back soon (max week or 2 week to restore )

@ Javeed, I believe so, because they have give the alert till 29th July, they will disable the feature. If you have processed the payment on 28 and the system is allowing this feature. You must receive the payment in your bank soon.

I have made the EFT request on 26-Jul-2010, but i haven't received the payment yet. I will keep you updated.

Here more then 1 lac freelancer is loosing his business they dont care about it.

 

I wish paypal resolves this issue soon. It would be better if paypal allows us to withdraw money to our cc atleast until the issue is resolved so that we have no issues with cheque.

 

i did give a try withdrawing on 29th early morning 3PM india time and lets see if the transfer goes through. i believe iam the last person withdrawing the funds. i guess pacific US time counts for paypal (less one day from indian time)

 

That is what I call optimism Ghee Shakkar in your mouth, but I think if the matter was so simple things would not have come to such a pass and they would not have to suspend NEFT .
