    I use ipb because of the converge addon which lets you have a single signon for mutiple sections of your website

    With vBulletin having a good CMS program now, I'll be sticking with them. Costs a pretty penny, but it's been well worth it.

    If your looking for a free software I prefer phpBB and for a paid software I prefer vBulletin. Do your research on each and find out which will suit your needs. :)

    Select Vb if you have the money and don't need to think about the web hosting costs for the next 2 years when you have to run your site without any funds before you start moving into the green. If you need to look at the money part of it, choose mybb. happy with it and its really good.
