It seems in forums people want to pay 8 to 10 times monthly earnings. In the world of Business Valuation it would be much much higher. A rough estimate would the value of a bond that would generate the equivalent cash flow. So if the site was generating $100k profit (income - cost) and say you could find a bond at 10%, the value of the site is one million. But how valuable would the site be with out the creator of its tools and admin of its forum.

I thought Shawn said the forum doesn't make a profit, but it just about breaks even. So if he's loaded, it's not because of this board. It's a helluva pet project, though.
40 K ...... you guys thats like horseshit , look at the server fundraiser post / page for example , and u will have a idea whats the basic cost just for running this site in hardware only .
Shoot, first $1 million offer for any website of mine and I'm taking it and going on a long vacation. No you couldn't retire early on that money, but it would at least hold you over till your next project...
hi friends... I would just help DP people to maintain their site. I know its difficult to maintain a such big site. Their efforts cant be said or converted in a few thousand or million dollars. I know how much pain one has to go thru to maintain a name. A silly mistake ruins all. I have been thru and dont want any one to go thru this. May DP and oher site holders never loose a site. Love.
What other expenses you think come from this forums other than hosting? I Can't imagine any other expenses.
