Both Twitter and FaceBook brings decent traffic to your website. But, I prefer to use Twitter. ( mostly because I like Twitter more than FaceBook )
Same for me, i think both are a great way to get traffic if used corectly but i just like twitter more than Fb
Facebook....whenever i check my website in google analytics ,....facebook traffic is always very high
Twitter is good for conversations that can go viral at times if interesting enough. Facebook on the other hand is more of community building to reap long term benefits from your fb fans.
Face book is a very popular on web and its fan page is very useful in promotion and traffic generation, so it is very good source of traffic.
Both are good source for driving traffic to the website. I use twitter when I want to test various campaigns, as you get response back almost instantly. With the right tools, you can very easily target traffic on twitter without needing allot of followers. Facebook is a great traffic tool and I seen success by being recommended by a member with good following and "real activity"
Ofcourse both are good source for driving traffic to the website. But today's facebook is most favorite to all people and now facebook access are available on all new mobiles, so facebook have more users.
Facebook is good if you have a continuing brand or business. It takes time to pay off. Twitter has more spam, so you can see quicker results
If you have more facebook friends than twitter followers - use facebook (actually sync the two). When blogging, usually Twitter will propogate your blog posts better when tweeted. I'll still have to go with Twitter when it comes to business. When Facebook dominates the business market (or buys LinkedIn) then it will be good for business and leading people to websites. I think other than chatting with friends Facebook has not other use (unless you are only leading people to your facebook page).
Twitter provides more traffic as it is easier to build followers but FB provides a lot more quality traffic looking for what you are promoting.
Honestly, i've never really used Twitter before. I mean it seems like it's simply "The Facebook Status Update" and nothing else, but i keep hearing it's one of the best marketing tools out there if used correctly. Damn now, that i think about it, i think I'm gonna make a Twitter account....just because.
i am really confuse...and i am very new about this all.......but i choose twitter for better way to get more traffic toxic7
I think if you're just looking for traffic then twitter is easier to build up profiles and get followers on and hence generate traffic. However facebook while taking more work to build up friends will generate better quality traffic.
I prefer Facebook because its very hard to get targeted followers on twitter secondly i order to get traffic from those twitter followers you need to tweet a lot whereas on facebook just post a link on some page or group and you will get some nice traffic
