Best color combination

Hi,

I'm not really sure if this is the right zone to post this question...
However, i want to redesign a wordpress blog. The niche is Sport Videos. And i'm looking for best color combination fur such websites and i don't know what to choose.

I'm thinking to have some green (a lots of sports are played on grass), but i don't know what else to choose. Also i'm not decided for what tent of green to use. Could somebody help me with some ideas?

 

I think light green #729036 with #BBBBC1 grass with playground borders

 

How many colors are you planning to use? Most sports really use white (mainly on backgrounds) while the secondary color would most likely co-relate with the type of sport. White and Red can be for boxing, white, blue and red for basketball and so on and so forth. How about white and green?

I think white blue green and grey is most suitable for this purpose.

 

White , black/gray & Green will give a Sporty look. Try this combination.

 

For me, designing a Sports style must have a 'strong looking' color combination. We are talking about sports which I think the theme should be about "energy". I suggest a color combination of Bloody Orange (#b02900) and Green (#629a00) for you since you want to include green color. It is either white or black background. Having a combination of Red and Blue is okay too.

well shades of blue and green are ideal colors to design website on sports.Greens color gives the feel of playground and blue color represents energy.

 

id do a light background such as white or beige and then a green and black combination for rest of site.

 

i think it would nice if you make a grey and white background which would be simple.....

 

It could be Purple with Black
YOu can keep the back ground black
and upper design purple
will look good

 

white and Deep Red will go in most of the sports websites
and may add other shades of red
