Hi i m running three websites at present but unable to understand why google is indexed less then submitted. in my website http://www.akooby.com total 600+ pages submitted through sitemap but only 9 has been indexed so far in another website http://www.quikrsms.com total 200+ pages submitted but only 2 index till date. in my blog http://blog.akooby.com total 3000+ pages submitted but only 1800+ indexed till date.. how i can increase this
your site age is about 3 months . Increase the PR of your site through building back links. Social Bookmark each pages of the sitemap individually on bookmarking sites such as mister wrong , mixx , folkd , jumptags . from 2nd week onwards , u will see more pages getting indexed.
Age of your domain is probably holding you back more than anything. For my newer sites Google only indexes pages that are linked to directly from the homepage, so if its an ecommerce website I just let each product have some time on the homepage and it gets indexed. You may just have to wait for things like forums to get indexed, when your site has more age behind it Google will look a little deeper naturally.
The something puzzled me,I had more than 400+ links, and had sitemap, but only 100+ indexed in Google
but how it is possible that google indexed more than 2000+ pages for my blog and only 9 pages for forum as age of the site is same
PR has directly nothing do to whatsoever with crawling, indexing nor caching pages. Building back links to get your website/webpage indexed is another story and would be much better than just focusing on getting your PR high. Each pages? lol. I don't think we need to SB pages such as sitemaps, contact us, about us, TOS, resource or link pages. It is good to do social bookmarking but obviously NOT all pages should be bookmarked. It also takes time mate, your website is fairly new to get crawled overnight.
