Use hyphen between 2 words where you want to separate any term or phrase. Hyphen is best to separate.
The article below will help you for the same.

URL with spaces is bad idea... separate two words by hyphen is best for SEO

The URL without spaces is preferred. Use a hyphen if you absolutely have to seperate words.

According to me URL without space is better option... Because with space, first of all looks little awkward and also while putting on web can confuse the users. If you really want to separate the two words, use some symbols like -, _ etc that will sound better.

No `spaces or hyphens to separate words. Both are good choices

Seems you've already made your decision (and you've made the right choice with a hyphen by the way!)..

However, for future reference, if you want to use 'spaces' in URLs, replace the spaces with %20 - google will read this as a space, and it will stop the link being broken / misread by engines :)

Never use spaces or underscores as word separators in URLs. It's a terrible idea.

Use hyphens as word separators like free-music.html instead of freemusic.html. As siothach said, hyphenated keyword phrases are MUCH better both for humans and search engines.
