    Hi,

My website was cached last by google on the 1 May 2010, the website has changed numerous of times since, is it possible to ping google and have my website re-cached again? It seems ages since it was last done.

    Thank you for any help.

Google crawls the internet in descending order of page rank
so a site with a PR7 site cache will change more frequently than a site with PR1
    patience my friend :)
however you could define the change frequency in a sitemap!! and give the search engines an idea on how often your content changes

    good luck

Cache Google Shows is a snapshot of the site when its web crawler indexed it. It all changed, to yahoo help that happens at least once a month.

Quite interesting! lol. :D Where do they get this kind of information? Am I missing out something here?

Do you have any proof or at least an article that can back this up? I'm really itching to know if PR has been the basis of re-caching of a website. Well? (Sinister smile)
