PayPal temporarily suspends electronic withdrawal in India, only cheque/check

Yes, and we've known this for 3 months now. But the question is that whether anybody is actually practicing this? I am not going to stop paying/purchasing using PP balance before they actually implement it programmatically or warn us specifically about this. This is a govt guideline which they are mentioning everywhere all the time but are not actually implementing on their site.

 

There is nothing wrong with the paypal - its the government who is creating this issue for paypal - first increasing inflation - secondly increasing petrol prices and now cease the money of paypal and not allowing them to do business freely - i dont know what is wrong with the government....

cheques not reaching correctly!!!...May be or may not be before but now it will happen. All will withdraw money via cheque now then its possible of missing cheque becoz 1000's of cheques will be checked out and problems may come for sure.....
First this is not the issue with Paypal workers. This is due to RBI. Kickoff this congress govt and bring some other. Present govt is really spoiling our business, Fuel price hike,etc....now this. Damn it!

 

How much is so much? Tell an approx figure, some experts will be able to provide more accurate solution for you.

You can withdraw in batches i.e not withdraw at one stroke but doing it every few hundred dollars, though i dont see much problem.

Banks might raise eyebrows if you withdraw at one stroke..

support so I am checking each of their website.

Also for freelance programmers who work with freelancer.com, scriptlance or odesk, I think it's time to get payoneer debit card. They suck with fees, but money is available instantly.

 

I got my Payoneer during PayPal's Feb fiasco . Though the fees of transferring money to it are high and I don't work with these sites anymore, it is a small comfort to know that I at least have an option.

 

Paypal sucks again... Can we withdraw the money today itself since they mentioned that the cheque withdrawal starts from 29th.

 

Yes and PayPal will never block us to spend money even they mention it. This terms was added few months ago but we are still able to spend money! Also PayPal will never stop it as they know that they are making money from it.

 

Now, what to do..
A cheque withdrawals in some cases result in loss on cheques, do not know why but the courier guys seem to miss our address from india..
Anyways, now what to do guys.. I think its high time to move away from Paypal cause this issue is getting a lot bigger now with bits of it falling on us
like Bombshells every second month now.

And most of us Indian deal with Digital Products if i am not wrong, which are already not covered by Paypal.

What do you guys suggest to us..??

One More Thing :
I think we are living in a Stone age, where Affiliates do not accept us simply cause our billing address is from India,
google wants our sites to be 6 months old for Adsense accounts & now this PayPal..!! Do not know what to do..

Yes and I think PayPal surly resume EFT sooner but we have to force them so they can feel pressure to start it as soon as possible.

RBI doesn't give a shit about freelancers/web businesses and is just making it harder for us to earn more money.

 

I just notice one thing..

All countries are making rules feasible to increase the trade..
And in India, RBI is working so hard to shut down our pocket money.. Do not know what they want now & why can not they do it clear for once..!!

 

Paypal giving an heartattack for all Indian users atleast twice / thrice in months. I have made a withdrawal today. It should work till now but tomorrow (July 29)

They said they are working on to get this resolved ASAP. Let's hope for the best to happen as much earlier as possible.

 

Hi, I've also got Payoneer card and havn't yet tried it. Can you please let me know transactions of Indian ATMs with this card is smooth like other Indian debit cards?
Also, if I check the balance on AMT will it display in USD or INR?

It's smooth and works like a normal debit card. Balance is in USD.

 

I have withdrawn my money. I called up paypal and asked whether there could be any problem, and there answer was NO.

We can withdraw as much as we want today.
