My sidebar has a blue background and I've added the twitter "follow button" into the sidebar

    this one: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tweetmeme-follow-button/

In firefox it's looking sweet (transparent) but in IE its got a white background and looks crap.

Anyone know how to fix this?

    Cheers,

    Steve

Last time I checked IE didn't display PNG's properly (transparent backgrounds). If there has been a fix for it, I don't know what it is. I usually crop the image all the way to the edge to take care of the problem.

    You can edit everything.
If you need to change the image, you will just have to open the plug in files via FTP, look for the image that you want to change in the images folder, and replace it with your own..keeping the same name of course to keep things easy.

Simply use IEpngFix. Google it and get it. its a simple css hack to get PNGs work in IE versions. You can download its code and couple of files from http://www.twinhelix.com/css/iepngfix/

    Thanks
