Will Sri Lanka be able to continue their performance in the 2nd test without Murli?

The absence of Murli would be a big test for Sri Lanka in the second test against India.

 

Murli was a big player for them. I think they should just pull it off without him though. Great second test match this'll be.

 

Sri Lankan batsmen surely appear to be carrying off... from where they left in the first test. They have dominated the first day piling on runs effortlessly! It remains to be seen whether Indian batsmen buckle as usual... even in the absence of Murali!

Next match India will win because srilankans missed malinga and muralidharan ( Great wicket taking bowlers).

 

Without Murli its very difficult for them to defeat India so India will definitely win this game...

 

As they are having very strong batting line up i think they are gonna give a great challenge to indian team

 

Indian bowling attack is too weak and I don't think it will be possible to beat Lankans.

India would be hoping for a draw at least.... because a loss in the second test as well, will elevate Sri Lanka to the first position in Test ranking!

For sure, but I guess Sri Lankan cricket team has that in them to perform consistently against the Indian cricket team, even without the 800 wicket taker Murlidharan. Even worse for the Indians, their world renowned batsmen are not in the best form of their lives.

Yes, it does seems to me. Sehwag and Murli were playing very good today and it seems a good batting pitch.

 

The kind of pitches being made, its a total batting game. So even if murli was there, India should be able to win as they are known to be very great players of spin. So why does India get rattled with his presence.

 

If the Indian batsmen can replicate the batting performance of Sri Lankans, this match is surely heading for a draw!
