    Hello,

I am pretty newbie to all this SEO thing and i have been playing around with a lame blog i have (2nd link in my signature).

But today something very weird (at least i think is weird ;)) have happen.

My blog is placed in the 1st position :p for a keyword that i am not even trying to target.
    http://www.bing.com/search?q=buxmatrix.com&form=QBRE&filt=all&qs=AS&sk=AS1&pq=buxmatrix&sp=2&sc=2-9

Plus is a cached page is not the actual page.

Is this normal to happen? Get 1st position in a keyword you are not even targeting?

Thanks in advance for your replies :)

if your targeted keyword is not shown in first rank without making a quality website and quality link building.

Um, I just checked the search query and it's a domain name? Your second link in your signature is not ranked first for it, unless I'm missing something?

The search might be customized to your computer, Im not sure if Bing does this, but I know google does it. Also its buxmatrix.com and your site does not rank for it.

I think you were asking how could you rank first on Google with a keyword which you are not working for, if that's your question, Google's indexing and ranking is based on two important factors they are relevance and popularity. If Google find your page/site the most relevant to a search term it will rank it in the SERP's either you work for it or not. It's that simple. :)

Then why did you ask this: 'My blog is placed in the 1st position for a keyword that i am not even trying to target.
    http://www.bing.com/search?q=buxmatr...ix&sp=2&sc=2-9' ?
