I started looking for money by selling links and blogpost (not brokers just sell my blog) I just bought a domain PR 3 and have difficulty in selling links on my blogroll and blogpost. Can you tell the secret of a good blog is of interest for advertisers. Do you have to have a lot of backlinks? how much? 100? 200? Good alexa ranking? under 1.000.0000? Number of articles? This article is unique and pass Copyscape? is it important? What about Traffic? SERP in search engine? like Google? or whatever? If you are an advertiser, the criteria blogs like what makes you say "yes, I want blogpost and a link on your blog"
Could be you don't have enough pages indexed which limits the power of the blogroll. If you have a PR 3 you should consider adding a couple hundred articles (yourself / paid) and then trying again. Chances are you will have people chomping at the bit for a spot.
PR is fools gold that is simply colored green. Buying a domain that has some PR and slapping a blog on it does not make the blogroll link valuable. Anyone doing a little research will see your domain's PR comes from elsewhere and will be lost during the next update.

Perhaps the potential buyers don't like what links are outbound off your site. The worse sites you are linking to from previous paid posts, the less likely a good SEO would want the link.
