ive found a package that offers me 10gb disk space and 500gb bandwith for $3 per month and its fast speed, so .. whats the specs you guys can offer?
There are many cheap webhosting services providers. its all depend how much speed and bandwidth you want.
I believe that incorrect to start the search for this kind of web hosting. If web hosting is good it cannot be cheap at all.
I have been using avahost.net for a year now, very cheap and whenever I have a problem, their customer support work fast. I definitely recommend it.
Checkout these: Bluehost, Hostgator, Inmotionhosting, Hostmonster, Justhost, Fat Cow Hosting. All have considerable reputation in Shared Hosting Segment.
Something has to give for that. Uptime, support and transfer speeds probably won't be that good. And I'd be surprised if they actually let you use 10gb space and 500gb transfer every month all for $3. How much space and transfer do you need, as in what you will actually be using? No point putting in for large plans with space and transfer you don't need as the chances are the host has no intention of letting you use all of it anyway. Best to pay for what you actually need and just upgrade your plan when needed.
not entirely true... I have cheap webhosting, $5.00 a month, however there are strict limits on bandwidth and space. 500MB of space and 15Gigs of bandwidth per month. However page load times and blazingly fast and things like setting up databases are domains are too (no "pending" time waits). My blogs get 10,000 hits a month (which isnt MASSIVE)... but I only use like 1/4 of the bandwidth and only 1/5th the space. Also have unlimited domains, databases, emails, etc... Anyone that offers unlimited bandwidth and space is overselling and things can be slow. Companies that have tight limits are usually not overselling resources and you'll get good reliability and speed. Check out DevotedHosting.com
dreamhost.com has been quite cheap in the previous years. we used it a lot and it offered quite a good value for $20 per year
well my hosting is $6/mo they give me 10GB space and 200GB ... very fast also and the good one is they don't overselling.
They may offer you 10GB space and 200GB transfer. Are you actually using all of it though? I doubt it.
