usually you accept money first then transfer domain.

But if I received a domain from you and found out that theres a chance it was a stolen name, I would not pay you either. I would contact the registrar and get a list of prior owners and contact them directly to see if the domain is in fact legitimately sold or stolen.

If I find out the domain is stolen I would give it to the registrar and ask that they hadn over domain to rightful owner. If I would find out I was mistaken I would pay for the domain and offer my appoligies to the seller.

If someone accused me of stealing a domain, and refused to pay I would fulyl cooperate in any material they ask, because it is understandable that they would not want to aid in a domain hijacking. I would prove I was rightful owner by both sending him my ID, and asking prior owner to verify that domain was sold to me.

The fact that you refuse to state what forum and from who you had purchased this domain from is proof enough that you have somethign to hide. I would not pay you if I was in the situation of the buyer, and furthermore I commend him for going the extra step and investigating this issue.

He could have turned his head and purchased this great domain highly undervalued and turned around and sold it for a lot more. But he is being ehtical about the matter and wants to get to the truth. He is not stealing the domain from you, and I bet he is really hoping that this ends up being a misunderstanding because a domain like AMA.NET is worth a lot more then what he agreed to pay for it.

    1. all your research must be before deal - unvaluable price: i need urgently money otherwise some members of NP and DP know i want to sell this domain with more price. and he want to firstly push dn. i trust him for him NP backround.
    2. if i can believe he paid to me my money i give all info.
But firstly he ask to me in this forum, http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=120186
i guess, Steven think all these procedures before deal. i will take and i will not pay.
    3. please check now whois info. is the domain hold by NP Admins ?
    4. where is the domain's rightful owner since 5 days ?

Why would you push first if you weren't so eager to get rid of the domain?

Has it occured to you that he may have found out that you stole the domain prior to making deal and pretended to make the deal so that he could assist in returnign the domain to the rightful owner?

The only thing I see there is that EdMurphy had suspicions as to your legitimacy as a member on this forum, and refused to finalize the deal. I see nothing wrong on his behalf.

He offered to transfer domain to NP Admin, offer and doing something are two different things. The fact that he offered to do this simply means he is willing to give it to a third party to remove any accusations of him being a thief. NP admins would not take the responsibility of holding domain because they would take on liability in case of a future litigation. He is working with NetSol to resolve the issue, however as all of us who have attempted to communicate with NetSol in the past know they work very slowly. Not too mention it is a weekend.

A domain owner with a large portfolio cannot be expected to sit all day going through the list of his domains to verify they are still in his control. As we now know you had regged and expired domain that was listed as admin contact for AMA.NET so that means the rightful owner was not notified of the transfer.

Don't even try to shift the attention away from you, I don't know EdMurphy, I have never contacted him, and he has never contacted me, I am merely posting as a third party with absolutely nothing to gain or loose from the outcome of this thread except to know that I was a part of setting the record straight.

This thread has already been reported and I'm guessing by more people then just me, so good luck on that.

This has absolutely no bearing or relevence in this case, but I live in United States.
