Sorry for intruding with this thread but. What steroids do they take for enhancement like for example (lol i am just curious on what products they use/buy)
Steroids are used to make them stronger. If someone is using this on a regular basis, it is quite noticeable as their head will grow. Seems to me that you have to be short on brains to use steroids Best wishes … Ron
Firstly, i'll start off by saying, clever tactics! Opening up a thread to contain your favourite keywords so your signature links are relevant to google... Nice work, only it wont do you many favours since Google algorithms are clever enough to figure out this isn't a muscle pharmacy website I may be wrong here but I used to have a fair understanding of steroids (not that I'd ever go near them with a bargepole..) Steroids are taken because they allow the body to store more protein before turning it to carbohydrate for fat.. This means that providing you eat lots of protein and work your muscles (at a gym for example), then your body can produce more muscle, faster.. The downsides: The mentioned alterations to the way the body handles protein, carbs, etc etc, are NOT good for the body. Altering the way your body works naturally is ALWAYS a bad thing. Steroids cause damage to your joints, your skin, your nervous system, and your mental patterns. Hence the common expression 'roid-rage' - steroids disable your ability to control anger, and increase your aggrivated tendencies, like most drugs. Contrary to popular belief, steroids dont make you stronger.. I have known people DOUBLE my weight (in pure muscle down to steroids) who are not nearly as strong as I am with totally healthy, natural muscle. What makes you stronger, is the working out part.. The 'size' of muscles increases because the steroids rush your body into building muscle, but it's poor muscle tissue, and isn't half as good as natural muscle.. Steroids are helpful to atheletes on a short-term basis because when they perform, they have a lot more (poor quality) muscle tissue which will deteriorate as they perform.. But because the steroids help build so much, there is more to burn off, and less fat to slow them down (because as I mentioned, the steroids allow the body to store more protein before it's turned to fat..) Chuckun
Steroids improve capability of the body. So athlete feel stronger. He/She can perform better after taking steroids.
They really do not improve capability.. They DESTROY your bodily functions.. On face value they may seem to improve capability (for reasons i explained in my post above).. But they age your muscles, joints, mind, skin, and pretty much every organ in your body, to the point of malfunction / failure.
had no idea massroids owned the musclesproduction.com site, my goodness how many roid and bb related sites to you guys run
To get bigger. To be stronger. To be better athletes, although ultimately for likely a shorter period of time. This is a pretty simple question.
Because they don't understand that the ends do not justify the means. You know -- like most world governments.
To improve body performance or grow muscles faster. But these are all temporary as your body will soon pay the price if the substance is used in excess. There are times where steroids can be used in medical treatment for diseases, like Cancer.
For the same reasons Popeye eats spinach(giggling)....it makes them stronger, faster and bigger. Hey, you know...Brutus is a handfull. Athletes are in a constant quest to out perform each other, so they take drugs to enhance their changes of WINNING.
You guys do know that it's not always illegal for athletes to take steroids and it's not always for them to get ahead? Scott Baker of the Minnesota Twins had a steroid injection a couple of weeks ago due to a sore elbow. He had a cortisone shot in his elbow because he's a pitcher to help with inflammation and pain, but cortisone doesn't treat pain that's just a factor that happens many times due to the swelling of the inflammed area causing pain not the injury itself. Anabolic steroids would be a better generalization on the matter. I also had a friend I grew up with and his brother needs steroids to help him live if I'm not mistaken. I don't know what his condition is and would not get into it due to he's not here telling you himself, but not all people who take steroids are deceiving anyone. There are legal steroids on the market. Many athletes take anabolic steroids to get ahead mostly. Alex Rodriquez went from a 100 bench press to 300 bench press in like a 6 month time span. The average human can only gain 10-20 pounds of muscle each year give or take due to complications such as genetics and their diet. They will take the drug to give them an edge. I mean many people do it to get out of poverty or to be famous. Money will cause you to do anything at times. Anabolic steroids are basically a man-made version of the male hormone, testosterone. This is why people tend to take it.
Steroids are helpful to atheletes on a short-term basis because when they perform, they have a lot more (poor quality) muscle tissue which will deteriorate as they perform.. But because the anabolic steroids help build so much, there is more to burn off, and less fat to slow them down (because as I mentioned, the steroids allow the body to store more protein before it's turned to fat..)
An athlete who take steroids are losers. They take in order to win, they cheat to win and cheater is always is a loser.
