is it normal Over 5500 page views but only $3 per month

My blog gets over 5000 thousand page views per month and that is for last 5-6 months. but i rarely get $3-4 per month with google adsense

I think you should your ad places and your theme..

 

First advice I have for you is to immediately take off the public service announcements, those dont pay money, just edit your ads to show the blank color.


yes thats normal and common you only get 5k views per month so thats normal thats actually pretty good 4 dollars.

You have to try and get 10k or more views a day to make any money on adsense.

I've had 5k views in one day and only made 2 dollars.

More people are becoming aware of google ads and don't bother clicking and when they do click its usually by accident.

 

Like Vel said before 5k view/month isn't really a lot i'm not an adsense expert but i don't think you really can expect a lot more

 

yeah 5k views a month is pretty low. The OP should shoot for 5k views a day more like it.

Also on the original posters blog, they have those public service announcement ads and those ads should be removed because they dont earn money.

 

It is normal for your website. AdSense units shown on your blog are very cheap. I can see social networks and games only. They hardly pay over 2 cent per click.

AdSense is the contextual advertising, means based on the content (text!) found on your website. You have almost no content (apart of images). That is the reason why Google just does not know WHAT to show on your website and shows any cheapest ads. You can increase your traffic to earn more. Or you must try to write more. E. g. write descriptions of at least 100 words to each image. Pay attention to the keywords you use in these description. With this technique higher paid ads will be displayed on your website and you can increase your earnings without increasing your traffic.

 

Log into your account and click on "Allow & Block Ads", then go through all the adverts that are showing up, block any that you don't think your visitors will be interested in. Every time my earnings or CTR drop I do that. Just ask yourself "is somebody who is looking for free wallpaper really going to be interested in ....." I find if I wake up one morning and by lunchtime notice the income/CTR is low, then if I go through the adverts placed that day and delete the ones that don't seem relevant, then by tea-time my stats are back up to normal again. I don't have to do it often. Maybe 3x in the past 2 years, but it certainly seems to work.

 

I would recommend chaging ads position, this might work...

You should try to increase the traffic because 5k PV isn't that great

 

maybe you need to moceto a hosting and a domain so you'll have more options.. also
improve the traffic and ad placements.

 

If you have over 5k then you should have more than that. You may need to look at keywords, ad placements, and content..

 

Downloading Wallpapers is a niche that you will not make good adsense money unless your getting TONS of traffic - sell your site and start something that will earn more than $0.09 a day

After this I changed my blog's theme/layout and ad positions totally.. now after that i can really feel the difference.
now I have added ADS in to my posts and getting clicks on them... the earning has multiplied 3 times almost with the same amount of traffic. I also used ad filter to filter ads in adsense.
