Anyone Use Simple Press Forum Plugin?

How to show the lastest topic in home page?
Like insert some code to do this?

 

I just installed it over the weekend and am still working to set it up. One tip: while I wasn’t exactly happy with the forum being squeezed onto a page with the blog’s sidebar still intact, I did find a page on the plugin’s home page that gives instructions on how to remove the sidebar so the forum stretches out a little more

 

Yes, I do use it and almost happy with it.

You can get latest posts on homepage very easily using SimplePress' Template tags. Here is the tutorial they have put together.

<?php sf_latest_posts(5); ?>

Code (markup):

off course 5 is the number of posts you want to get on homepage.

there are more tags and examples details available on the link.

I have installed a php exec plugin ,it works now

 

now it can output recent posts but in the way I dislike.I want it to output the result in a form

Sorry I forgot to mention about you need PHP Exec plugin first.

For the formatting styles, what you need is a topic not posts. so I am not sure if this function is already there. However it should not be that difficult to create a custom function for your need.
