I just installed it over the weekend and am still working to set it up. One tip: while I wasn’t exactly happy with the forum being squeezed onto a page with the blog’s sidebar still intact, I did find a page on the plugin’s home page that gives instructions on how to remove the sidebar so the forum stretches out a little more
Yes, I do use it and almost happy with it. You can get latest posts on homepage very easily using SimplePress' Template tags. Here is the tutorial they have put together. http://wiki.simple-press.com/plugin-api/template-tags/list-template-tags/ find the php code example <?php sf_latest_posts(5); ?> Code (markup): off course 5 is the number of posts you want to get on homepage. there are more tags and examples details available on the link. Hope it helps. thanks
now it can output recent posts but in the way I dislike.I want it to output the result in a form like this
Hi wiseboke, Sorry I forgot to mention about you need PHP Exec plugin first. For the formatting styles, what you need is a topic not posts. so I am not sure if this function is already there. However it should not be that difficult to create a custom function for your need. Thanks
