no impressions on Content Netowrk After 48 hours

Is this common? I started a new adgroup 48 hours ago and search network is showing up fine. But not a single impression for the content network.
My ads average in the 1 - 3 position in search.
Plus I ran this same group a few weeks ago and I used to get tons of content network impressions, but now none. Anyone else experience this before?
I've already written Google to ask but no response yet which brings up my second question: Does the google support staff work on the weekends or has anyone gotten an email from them on the weekend? Thanks.

Yeah I'm in the same situation on a campaign I started this weekend.

Not a single content impression but thousands of search impressions. Which happens of course to be where the place where the clicks are more expensive. Go figure..

I just started AdWords, and I opted out of the content network for now. I was told that it isn't good for people starting out, because the CTR is very low. I don't know if I should try it or not.

OP could it just be a rough patch for you?

take about 5 business days to your ads being approved for content network.

The content network low CTR don't affect your campaigns or quality score - read this small letters notice at the bottom of every of of your adgroups.

Got a reply back from Google today letting me know "Your ad wasn't showing because it was still going through the review process. "

So Micromag gets the props on this one.

I did not realize there was approval for both search and content. I figured since it was approved for search it was ok for content. Thanks all.

Check out "Why Can't I See My Ad"

    Third to last bullet point:

    "Google Network
Your ad will not show on sites in the content and search networks until it has been reviewed and approved according to our advertising policies. Therefore, image ads, video ads, and any site-targeted ads will not begin running until after review and approval."
