SEO GURUS what does this mean

    I'm not familiar with google places, so I can't see that it is that important.
    But I agree with the above people that this person is probably more interested in your money than where you are on the page. :)

    The question is about a answer on a other topic from the topicstarter. Why arent you asking it on your original topic?

    Ontopic:

    I think what he is meaning is the factors that have influence on your position at Google Places. He is saying that only backlink building wont influence your ranking at Googe Places. I dont have much experience with Google places but check the details of the high ranking websites. When you go at the details its obvious what factors got influence it isnt rocket science or something just do some research..

    About this and the previous topic(s) I get the idea that you dont know much about SEO. Maybe its an idea to do some research first about SEO so you know at least the basics and get the idea how it work in general. This also can help when you would hire someone in to do the job for you. So you know what they are selling you ;)

    I believe but am not 100% sure to rank higher you need to work more on your local back-links. Such as directories that have regional categories. you need to get your physical address to your company out there more, that way google knows where you are, how ever Google places is a subject I'm not really sure about at this time.

    Just some suggestions.
