How to find out pagerank?

I hear people going on about there page rank all the time, but how do you find out your page rank? I know it sounds pretty dumb but i just dont know..

Just to add on to the already rich information, some sites have fake PRs. The following tool can check if the page PR is real:

I have been on many websites and i never found a fake page rank checker. All of them showed me the same thing.

Google toolbar doesn't work great with tabs. Especially in Firefox 2 beta 2... If you have more then one tab open, it'll show the wrong rank for the sites. its kinda weird lol

I wish goolge would update the dang rageranks.. seems like its been forever.

 

If you want higher pagerank you are going to need more backlinks. The more sites that link back to your site the better your pagerank . But be careful where you submit it.

yeah.. I have found the www.urltrends.com is a pretty nice way to check all of your page rankings and links and stuff. But they only update it once a month unless you wanna pay them $

 

now they are predicting my skate site to go back down to a 3...........

 

how long has your site been up...it takes time to gain PR.

 

It's only been up a month lol if that, how can I find out how many back links I have?

 

Go to www.yahoo.com and type link:www.yoursite.com into the search box.

 

hmm that didnt work lol, it just showed up loads of links for my other site :S

 

To check my pagerank I use pr.blogflux.com ... I don't know why but it was the first one I ever came across. Also to check backlinks I just go to google, go to advanced search and then in the "Links" search part I enter my website address.

I also found a download for a backlink checker for all the major search engines and another site that tells you your predicted page rank at the next google update. I have them saved at home so I'll post them tonight
