I like to submit a new site to a directory. It is a good way to promote a new site. But i don't like waiting for approval and no reply from directory even i already added a reciprocal link to the directory. Why the people don't keep promise? Why not exchange links fairly in a directory? If there is a reciprocal link directory can open to accept links instantly, do you like it? Why? i think a reciprocal links is fair and friendly. If no need a reasonable reciprocal links, the directory will have a lot of spamming links. What is the quality for a directory?

IMO i don't rely on reciprocal links alone,there are other ways in link building if you want to have a traffic or backlinks, direstories normally takes time for approval for them to check if your site is credible enough to be listed.
1.there is a whole bunch of free directories, but almost there is not a directory can approve your submittion instantly. 2.Reciprocal link is the way to make internet. 3.If directories have quality links, they are not low quality place for reciprocal link reciprocal link will guarantee one spam link only there is one time to spam.
I don't think it is good idea. This is why i open my directory, allow all people can approve their links instantly, if they added a reciprocal link.

reciprocal link is not that much of good idea..thats why most people much wanted the one way linking..its much beneficial to their site.. lets say i have a site that i want to pass in 100 directory sites, then what i do is choose reciprocal linking, which means basically i will put their site link in my website in return...right??? then what would be my site like?? more than likely a link farm..
