Here's the scoop... A non profit organization is trying to win a grant through the Pepsi Refresh Challenge. To get attention they put the company president in a Dog Kennel for 10 days. They are broadcasting the webcam feed 24/7 from their website. ( http://pawinhandmatch.com/ruffingit.php ) They put up vote buttons to get you to vote at the Pepsi Refresh Challenge as well as Digg, Yahoo Buzz, FB and twitter buttons. SO... Was this a good idea or are these people crazy?
Hmm.. I don't know. Considering you set up the twitter page for the promotion, how do you think its going? Seems like an okay idea though. Eh, a little shameless self promotion never hurt anyone I guess. As far as the marketing idea, it's been done, a lot, but they do have the tendency to go viral quickly so in that sense, it's a good idea.
it's not shameless. It's shameful.. Actually it's stupid. This is a community where everybody follows rules. You come in here and try to get a free pass.
Ummmm I'm not the OP "factchecker" maybe you should check your facts better I was just answering the guys post with a short opinion on the question, if you don't like what he posted shouldn't you be addressing him instead of me, or PM'ing him instead of me?
