Would this be an issue from an SEO standpoint?

I’m making a website and wanted to show it to someone. If I add a no index tag and put it on the server with one of my existing site and then remove it in a couple of days would this be a problem, from an SEO standpoint, for the existing site? The existing site is doing great in the SERP’s lately and I do not want to do anything that would have a negative effect on this.

You can put the demo website in a directory put noindex and it shouldn't affect the existing sites.

What you can in this case, is just create a folder and upload the files there and block that folder using robots.txt.

Thanks. Didn't think it would be a problem but wanted to make sure.

There would not be any issue if you put a no index tag..
