I know some people don't like signing up for programs through an affiliate link, so they sometimes just copy the link and extract the url without the aff id.. ;)

What do you think about it

If you are going to sign up for a program and you see an affiliate link, will you follow it?

I always try to signup thru an affiliate link as someone should earn somethign for me signing up. Especially if they turned me onto the program or reccomended it to me they should get credit.

If someone links to a new place that's interesting then I have no problem signing up through their links. I will be paying the same amount anyway..I don't have to pay them for giving me the link. And, playing the other side of it, being a marketer I don't care if you give me an affiliate link that answers my question/search. I've done that so many times...and even in this forum...

This poll shows why I always like to cloak the URLs. Cause most webmasters know what an affiliate link is and don't like to use them. Have the link show your own domain and they'll have no choice but to click that URL if they want to go there!!!! By the time they find out it's an affiliate link...!!! :D:D Thanks for da cookie!!! :D:D

i will signup if i want tosignup, why should i be a hater and remove aff link? I am the on who think aff links is good for webmaster community, so they can get some extra money from aff links as long as they do not spam shitty programs just to get commision. I call them haters who do not signup under the link, but signup to same program without it

I use the affiliate link. Somebody is going to get that money; if the person has done the marketing work to get me to sign up or buy, they deserve the reward.

I'm guessing half of us don't like the thought of some one else making money off of us, while most of the rest of the internet probably wouldn't even know it's an affiliate link!!!!!

Most of the time I don't use affiliate links, but if I get recommended by someone I know I'll most likely use that link.

If I want to sign up for a program/website that I know offers affiliate sign ups, I try to find a link. I might as well help someone else out. It couldn't hurt me, right?
